Hello Ms. Mohr,

My father receives your magazine regularly. I noticed you had a recent article, “Health insurance options limited for Minn. farmers” [December 2016, page 52].

I see that you spoke with Billmark Lakes Area Insurance in Alexandria to quote options available.

I was surprised to see UCare not listed as an option. Being that your magazine is seen across Minnesota, and Mr. Marty Trierweller (agent at Billmark), quoted all other companies, including Health Partners and Blue Cross/Blue Shield with limited county coverage. Why was UCare not quoted as well? Even though we are only available in certain counties as well, some of those counties are more rural, including Morrison.

I do understand Billmark may only represent/sell certain plans, but in all fairness, shouldn’t all plans available in Minnesota be listed?

I was born and raised on a dairy farm and work with a lot of farmers in my line of work, so not seeing our plan listed was quite unfortunate.
