Snow covered the ground and bushes one January morning.Alaina Dismukes
Snow is not unheard of in the Midsouth but is rare. Snow days involve a lot of prep and a slight sense of panic, as well as a whole lot of excitement, amongst a group of people who seldom see white flurries falling from the sky. The local grocery stores are packed out the day or two before the winter weather is expected to hit. Milk and bread are sold out with the expectation of being snowed in for days instead of half a day.
Enjoy a few photos from a recent snow day.
