UNMARKED BILLS: Hornswoggling takes a lot of time and money.

I admit it: I’ve “OD-ed” on politics. But here’s a lighter look at the dark problem:

Just when you thought political bellyaching would settle down for the holidays, another investigation pops up. It’s the stealthy modus operandi for politicians to make sure we don’t think about what’s not getting done.

Nothing spreads faster or draws “flies” quicker than political news. Most of it stinks.

Politicians not only believe in Santa Claus; they strive to make you believe they’re the real ones.

The other day, our congressman stopped by Koffe Klutchers for a cup of caffeine, but couldn’t stop coughing. Apologizing, he said: “Been out of D.C. for weeks. Still have ‘swamp cough.’”

Term limits might help drain Washington’s political swamp. Trouble is, career politicians such as L.M. Duck will double-dip with full-pay retirement plus unemployment, and try to plug up the drain.

Some, like mosquitoes, would still buzz D.C., trying to infect others with the plague.
