The South Dakota State Fair was one of the only state fairs in the U.S. to be held in 2020.

Attendance for the Sept. 3-7 event had not been announced at press time. Due to COVID-19, the figure isn’t expected to be anywhere near 205,000 people who attended last year. But the livestock shows, exhibits and food vendors still attracted many participants and visitors.
