NorthStar Genetics will announce its NorthStar Community Star contest winners in December. The program is designed to recognize and award farmers for giving back to their agricultural communities.

“At NorthStar Genetics, we know that farmers work hard, not only on the farm but in their communities as well, with endless hours of volunteer support, mentorship and leadership,” says Dan Hogstad, CEO, NorthStar Genetics. “Farmers play a vital role in keeping agricultural communities vibrant, and we want to recognize these individuals and give back in a small way.”

Winners will each be awarded $1,000 to donate to a charity or organization of their choosing in their community.

“There are many ‘farm stars’ throughout our farming area, and we are eager to hear and share their story, but most of all want to take this opportunity to help their communities recognize them, give back and most of all say thank you,” says Hogstad.
