Max Armstrong talks about homicides in our region. (audio)

What is going on in even some of smaller cities in our region with all of these killings? Columbus, Ohio, has reached 100 homicides already this year.

The corn harvest has slowed considerably with 22% of corn brought in as of Sunday. In Illinois, they are generally half done by this time in October and farmers have harvested 32% of crop. Iowa’s corn is just 8% harvested. Nebraska, 13% harvested. In Minnesota, it’s 4% harvested. Soybean is 7% behind average.

In Kansas, more than 70 foster children are missing. Three sisters have been missing from foster home in northern part of state for six weeks now.

Colorado has bear problem with bears getting too close to humans.
