Have you heard the National Rifle Association has selected Ollie North as its next president. At its annual convention in Dallas last weekend they reported attendance of more than 87,000.

39% of corn crop was planted as of last weekend. Soybean was 15% complete as expected, 2 points ahead of average.

It’s primary election day in Indiana and Ohio. There’s been nasty primary battle in Indiana. In Ohio, governor’s race is open.

Nashville’s hotel rates are coming down. There are more than two dozen large hotels under construction there now.
