The authorities in Michigan say there were 6 students on hiking trip in Upper Peninsula. One left and didn't come back. It took rescuers hours to find the boys and one was dead when they arrived.

Authorities say they have Victor Linton and Allen McCray in custody after a three-state crime spree in Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.

Crop bulletins this afternoon will be examined to see just has happened in wheat fields and newly planted corn fields. There's been flooding, damaging winds, snow and cold.

Farmers weren't only ones complaining about weather this last weekend. AdventureLand in Iowa was scheduled to open last weekend. It didn't. It was too wet and cold.
