Max Armstrong talks about car sales and prices, the Trade Mitigation package, fair season records and the national anthem at ball games.

Do you realize how cars have fallen from favor in America? And average vehicle prices continue to rise. 

Secretary of Ag Sonny Perdue has launched the Trade Mitigation Package. Producers can now sign up for the program, being administered by FSA.

Across the heartland, fair season is slipping away. The Minnesota State Fair had more than 2 million people attend, a record breaker.

One hundred years ago today, game one of the World Series was played between the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs. The national anthem was played during the seventh inning stretch, the first time it had been played during a ball game.
