MORNING Midwest Digest, Nov. 7, 2018

Steve Alexander is in for Max, and talks about election news, a request for boot socks, another Catholic church mess and a farm accident in Michigan.

There were notable firsts in the elections last night, particularly for women.

The current Illinois first lady is calling for people to send socks and greeting cards to service members. And not just any socks; boot socks in particular.

Another mess for the Catholic church is happening, this time in Sioux City, Iowa, where a priest abused boys for decades, and the church covered it up.

There's been another fatal farm accident. A man in Michigan was dragged by a tractor, and died instantly.
