Max Armstrong talks about a fallen police officer, a farm bill agreement, eating romaine lettuce and ice safety on lakes.

A policeman was buried in Chicago last week after being killed in the line of duty.

A farm bill agreement could come as soon as today, some say. The Forestry Title seems to be the hang up.

It's OK to eat some romaine lettuce now, but read the label first. The romaine linked to the outbreak appears to be from the California central coast.

The MNDNR is offering ice advisories already. Some lakes have no ice, and other have several inches. Parents should teach their children ice safety, the department says.
