MORNING Midwest Digest, Nov. 2, 2018

Max Armstrong talks about use of the electric chair in Tennessee, dire straits of the dairy industry and coconut oil as insect repellant.

Not since 2007 had the state of Tennessee used it's electric chair. It was used last night to kill a death row inmate who murdered two people 35 years ago.

The dairy industry is in dire straits. Not news, just a reminder of the difficult time.

Did you hear about research from the USDA? Compounds derived from coconut oil have been found to repel insects better than deet.
