MORNING Midwest Digest, June 5, 2018

Steve Alexander is in for Max Armstrong today and talks about state governor news from Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as Chris-Craft boats and the crop report.

Missouri's new governor likes the cabinet he inherited.

In Illinois, J.B. Pritzker has put more than 100,000 million into his own campaign. It could be the most expensive governor's race in history.

Wisconsin has 10 democrats running for governor. Only 4 can take part in a debate in July, according to the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.

RV maker Winnebago is buying boat-maker Chris-Craft.

The crop report shows nearly all corn and soybeans have been planted across the Midwest.

Illinois residents can vote for their favorite coin design to celebrate its birthday.
