MORNING Midwest Digest, August 27, 2018

Max Armstrong talks about wildfires, the Farm Progress Show, hemp crops and Mollie Tibbetts' funeral.

Smoke from the Northwest wild fires will continue to spread across the country this week. There's also a fire threat on the Plains today.

Very nice end-of-summer temps are expected for the Farm Progress Show this week at Boone, Iowa. Sonny Perdue will be at the show this week, too.

Illinois governor signed the state's industrial hemp act over the weekend. The crop will be used for non-drug products.

Mollie Tibbetts' father delivered an emotional eulogy yesterday at her funeral.
