It seems we can’t stop texting behind the wheel even when we are hauling our most precious cargo. Half of all parents use their cell phones while driving with young children, ages 4 to 10, in the car. What will it take?

It’s a new Detroit these days. It’s five years ago that Michigan’s largest city filed for bankruptcy. Renovation is spreading through the area. Retail, housing springing up anew. The automakers continue to deliver profits. Ford is going to overall Michigan Central Station in Detroit. GM is leader in self-driving cars.

My friends who farm for a living know the utmost importance of animal care. They are as shocked as the rest of us when they learn of animals not being cared for. 12 horses were removed from a northeast Kansas farm because they weren’t being given enough water. A horse will drink up to 10 gallons of water a day and a cow up to 30.
