Max Armstrong talks about tick season and dusty, dry soil conditions.

Tick-borne illnesses have tripled as the tick season starts. Government officials want people to be more concerned about bites and the health issues that can stem from them.

Dry, dusty conditions have shown up, even after all the snow. Australian farmers are also seeding wheat crops into the driest soils in years.

Recognition is due to founder and CEO of Kinze Manufacturing. He'll receive an honorary doctorate of science from Iowa State University for his innovative technologies.
