Max Armstrong shares talks about Easter weekend in Kansas. (audio)

Two surveys are in the news today. First, AFBF has tallied cost of food for Easter. It's 6% less than last Easter. Egg prices are 41% less, bacon down 3%, cost of flour off 5%.

Salaries earned at 3 dozen different jobs climbed to $100,000 a year. Wall Street Journal reports. Oral surgeons, earn $200,000 a year.

Easter weekend for those southwest cattle ranchers who lost their cattle, fences, won't be the same. But rebirth will come. 

President of Kansas Livestock Association said donations came in so quickly some of it had to be protected from wildfires.
