Have you hit one of those bone-jarring potholes recently? Those tire repair and body shops say they are receiving the results.

Tomorrow is opening day for the Western Farm Show held in Kansas City. Members of the FFA will be hard to miss there. There were more than 3,300 there last year from 65 FFA chapters. It’s quite a site. More than 500 exhibitors. Show runs through Sunday.

In Quimby, Iowa, the plant’s rendering plant closes tomorrow. It’s the end of an era. Product brings prices that just aren’t high enough.
