Max Armstrong talks about Farm Futures latest acreage estimates. (audio)

Some of you here in the Heartland have escaped it, but states from Wyoming to Indiana are in the middle of the flu outbreak.

Farm Futures is out with its estimates of how much acreage farmers will devote to big crops. Soybeans barely have the edge over corn at the moment. 35,000 more acres to soybeans than corn. If it were to happen, it would be first time since 1983. Farmers intend to plant 90.1 million acres of corn and soybeans, almost same as last spring. Grain sorghum projected to increase in acreage.
