The Detroit auto industry and specifically General Motors wound up in President-elect Trump's Twitter feed around breakfast time this morning. 

A monthly survey on farmer confidence showed that as of the beginning of this month, farmers rated their confidence as low as they ever have in seven years been polling. But, their level of optimism about the future is the highest since the DTN survey started in 2010. A DTN spokesperson said it had to be the election that's fueling the optimism.
