MIDDAY Midwest Digest, September 19, 2018

Steve Alexander is in for Max and talks about farm safety, sleeping sickness from mosquitos, thefts and retiring rock bands.

It's national farm safety week. And we all need to remember that it's not just tractors and combines that can be disastrous. An ATV accident killed a man from Nebraska.

Someone in Michigan has been infested with "sleeping sickness," one of the worst mosquito-born illnesses.

A Missouri mail carrier has been charged with stealing money from greeting cards. And a man in Minnesota stole from farmers while he managed a co-op, to the tune of about $2 million.

You know you're getting old when your favorite bands start retiring. The Bob Seger band is heading out on a farewell tour.
