Max is in North Carolina watching the approach of hurricane Florence, which has taken a more southern path. 

Some heartland blood banks are saying supplies are low, as supplies have been shipped to the Carolinas in anticipation of the storm.

Some farmers are trying to get crops harvested before the hurricane hits the area.
