MIDDAY Midwest Digest, Feb. 11, 2019

Max Armstrong talks about Valentine's Day spending, the China trade talks, St. Louis tourist season and emotional support alpacas.

The average person will spend at least $50 on Valentine's Day gifts this year.

China struck an upbeat note this morning, but expressed anger at a U.S. Navy mission, during trade talks.

The 2019 tourism season in St. Louis will be all hands on deck. The arch is looking for employees.

An Ohio family has to find new homes for their alpacas, which they consider "emotional therapy" animals. A neighbor filed a complaint, saying the family turned their backyard into a pasture.
