The stories told throughout 2024 by Farm Progress editors highlighted so many successes and opportunities farmers across the United States had. They also shared tragedy, concern and perseverance. And so many of them shared the root of all of those things: farm families.

From raising salmon in the Midwest to starting a mushroom farm; saving a family dairy to buying a local feed store; remembering young farmers gone too soon to a community coming together in the face of tragedy; these stories resonated with the editors who wrote them , but the farmers who read them.
