Max Armstrong reports on the work of the United Soybean Board. Funding for the organization comes from the soybean checkoff where half the money is returned to the local state and the rest goes to USB. Max shares that the return for every checkoff dollar spent by USB returns $12 for farmers. A look at the priorities for the fiscal year 2023 for USB include furthering the role of soy in clean energy, furthering health research for the soybean, and focusing on soil health partnerships.
Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
