Max Armstrong offers a look at a program that provides service animals for the farm

October 22, 2019

Max Armstrong shares insight on PHARM Dog USA which is a group that started in rural Missouri to help farmers cope with a disability. The group places dogs that provide service skills to people who need help. The tasks include fetching items, opening gates and even going for help if needed. The name Pharm stands for Pets Helping Agriculture in Rural Missouri – but the group works beyond the state.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
