Max Armstrong shares that the Grocery Manufacturers Association is changing its name to the Consumers Brands Associations. GMA has been under fire from members regarding handling of GMO food labeling. But now the organization will expand its reach beyond food and the rebrand signals a new landscape for food manufacturers. Consumer-driven changes are hitting food companies’ bottom lines.
