Max Armstrong looks at a new facility being built in Kansas that’s aimed at researching new animal diseases

Max Armstrong shares a look at a new “Manhattan Project” – a new biocontainment laboratory that’s being built in Manhattan, Kan. The new facility – the National Bio and Agro Defense Facility – is for USDA and will focus on new and emerging infectious diseases. The new facility will include a maximum biocontainment space; currently USDA uses a facility on Plum Island near New York.
