Max Armstrong takes a closer look at what the ‘new NAFTA’ will mean for U.S. dairy producers

October 10, 2018

Max Armstrong offers a look at one key part of the renegotiation of the old North American Free Trade Agreement – dairy trade with Canada. Max shared that the new agreement – known as USMCA – will show a 35 to 40% potential increase, but the boost is about one-half percentage point of total production. The benefits of the new NAFTA won’t be that great for U.S. dairy producers.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
