Farm Progress America, July 11, 2017

Max Armstrong looks at an effort by USDA to get input on new required rules for labeling GMO content in food.

Max Armstrong looks at the move by USDA's Ag Marketing Service to gather information - in 30 questions - to help draft new standards for labeling of bio-engineered foods. The GMO-labeling requirement went into law in 2016, and now USDA has to develop the rules. Max explores the issue in more detail.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
