Max Armstrong shares the rising trend of farmers who have entered the world of agritourism. He shares the story of a fruit farm in southwest Michigan owned by Herb and Liz Teichman that got into agritourism more than 50 years ago. That farm near Eau Claire, Mich., drew crowds by the busload. Visitors could even rent a tree for the year. Max shares that the history of the farm is coming to an end as the operation closes soon.
Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
