Max Armstrong talks about the delay in implementing new organic livestock production rules

Max Armstrong looks at the delays of the new Organic Livestock and Poultry Practices Rule, which adds new provisions for livestock transport and slaughter, poultry conditions and other aspects of the livestock industry. While the Organic Trade Association is pushing the provisions, other groups including major commodity organizations and the American Farm Bureau Federation support the delay in its implementation.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
