Investigate the opportunity
“We received over 120 applications again this year from students across our region, making the selection process a challenging one,” adds Robertson, a Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer from Westminster, Md. “As a farmer, I’m very confident that the future of agriculture is in good hands. I’d encourage any student considering a career in this industry to apply for our scholarship program next year.”

The $3 million, nonprofit foundation was established in 2015 to help advance the future of agriculture.

The $10,000 scholarships are for high school seniors or students enrolled in advanced educational programs. Applicants must be planning to pursue a career in agriculture and reside in a county within Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit’s five-state territory. Click on fcfoundationforag.org for details.
