The 2024 Farm Futures Business Summit, set to take place Jan. 9-11 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Coralville, Iowa, offers something for everyone: a chance to laugh, learn, and be inspired, all in one action-packed two-day conference.

Gable won every major championship available to an American wrestler, climaxed by a gold medal in the 1972 Olympic Games. As a coach, his Hawkeyes won a record nine consecutive NCAA team titles. In December of 2020, Dan Gable was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He has authored several books including New York Times Best Selling books, “A Wrestling Life” and “A Wrestling Life 2.”

Gable knew how to lead because he knew how to listen. Even if you’ve never wrestled, summit attendees will be touched by Gable’s awe-inspiring journey from small-town Iowa to Olympic gold medalist.

In addition, you won’t want to miss comedian Jerry Carroll. After farming for 20 years, he decided to pursue his life’s dream of entertaining people and making them laugh. Jerry harvests a bumper crop of high hilarity in his fast-paced, high-energy show about his life and times with a distinct southern flair.

Great comedians say comedy is everywhere. Jerry Carroll found it on his family’s farm. Since 1993, Jerry has performed for crowds from 20 to 20,000 in venues ranging from the local volunteer fire department’s banquet to the Ministers of Provincial Parliament at the Royal York in Toronto, Canada. Jerry has opened concerts for music artists such as Michael Bolton, Patty Loveless, Lyle Lovett, and Larry Gatlin. When he's not on the road making people laugh, Jerry still works the fields of his family's farm.
