Tire, track advancements on display

There's a lot of tech going on with the tire industry. And after-market track advancements are being made too. This roundup of parts from the 2014 Farm Progress Show gives you a glimpse at some key tools being released to the market. This is by no means a comprehensive rundown, but part of what the Farm Progress Show New Products Team discovered during this year's big event.

Tire tech is a moving target as companies work to enhance compounds, build new tread designs and work on ways to reduce compaction while providing top level performance. You'll find tech for reducing compaction, some innovative new approaches to what a tire should look like and there's new track technology too.

Check out the gallery of images, and read their descriptions to learn more about the options you have now, and in the future.

This roundup was prepared by the Farm Progress Show New Products team including Tom Bechman, Indiana Prairie Farmer, Mindy Ward, Missouri Ruralist, Josh Flint, Prairie Farmer, and Lon Tonneson, Dakota Farmer.
