Those of you who farm know that agriculture is an innovative place to work. Outsiders marvel at the tools and technologies you put to work on your operations and every year we let you guide us to the products we’ve featured that you found most interesting for your businesses. What follows is our list 2016 FinOvation honorees, and you’ll find a range of products here to reconsider.

Each year we pull together the FinOvation honorees we find a unique mix of products you found interesting for your farm and this year is no different, from a new side-by-side utility vehicle from a new player in the market to a new way to apply crop protection products in-furrow, you wanted more information about these tools.

Those products featured here were chosen from all the products we featured from November 2014 through October 2015, and while there are 21 products featured here, there were dozens more candidates this year, but you have to cut it off somewhere. We look not only at those reader service reports (circle those numbers and send that card in) but also how you responded to news about these products that we featured on the Web.

This is more than a popularity contest, we’re looking for market innovations you also found interesting. And for those companies that were well received, but didn’t make this 2016 list, we applaud your ingenuity and look forward to seeing what you offer to growers this season.
