California show offers wide range of tools, tech

Tulare, Calif., becomes the veritable ag center of the universe every February as more than 100,000 people trek to the World Ag Expo. The show boasts 2.6 million square feet of exhibit area and 260 acres of show grounds.

The 1,500 exhibitors that travel to the show offer a wide range of gear for the diverse agriculture of the region. Team FIN member Daryl Bridenbaugh, an Ohio, producer, made the trip out West this year and brought back a few products for us to see. You can also get a glimpse of what he picked up by checking out his blog this week and later on.

From handy tools, to new building technology, Daryl covered the territory. Aware that some of the equipment he chose might not be suitable for the Midwest, he says Farm Industry News readers would be interested. So click through this new gallery to find out what he saw.

From fire extinguishers to a unique hammer that even Thor might like to use, Bridenbaugh saw plenty when he visited the show. As a farmer, he kept his eye open for the practical as well.
