New soy biodiesel

Cenex is offering a new premium diesel fuel with 2% soy biodiesel. The fuel, called Ruby Fieldmaster B2 premium, will be available to Cenex distributors at more than 20 facilities for bulk diesel located in Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Biodiesel may be used to power any diesel engine with little or no modification. It has been shown to reduce harmful emissions and to enhance the lubricity qualities of petroleum diesel fuels. Biodiesel is commonly blended with traditional petroleum diesel at rates ranging from 2% (B2) to 20% (B20).

Concrete stain remover

Clean up those oil and grease stains on your machine shed floor with the Pour-N-Restore concrete and masonry stain remover. The new product removes oil and grease stains from concrete and stones without scrubbing. It also removes antifreeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid and tar stains.

To use the product, you simply pour it on the stain. As it dries, it turns into an absorbent powder, pulling the molecules to the surface. You sweep up the powder, and the stain is permanently removed.

Silage unloader

The new Silage Mill attachment for a skid-steer loader reduces spoilage on a silage pile by making clean cuts with little disturbance to the main pile. The skid-steer boom raises the mill to the top of the pile for each new bite. As the mill is lowered, its rotor teeth smoothly and gently pull the silage, and it falls to the ground in a loosely milled pile for easy handling. The mill does not reduce particle size and works in both corn or hay silage. It is priced under $3,000. Contact Erskine Attachments Inc., Dept. FIN, Box 100, Erskine, MN 56535, or visit
