A new company headquarters, built in the heart of farm country in North Dakota’s Red River Valley, brings new opportunities for the local economy and workforce. Väderstad U.S. proudly shared news of the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in November.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a collaborative celebration attended by the Twin Town Ambassadors, the chamber of commerce, community members and the Väderstad team. This opening marks a significant milestone in its commitment to growth and innovation in the agricultural sector.

Väderstad is a global company based in Sweden that manufactures tillage, seeding and planting equipment. This new achievement also serves as the company’s U.S. headquarters. Väderstad started its North American venture with the purchase of Seed Hawk in 2013, along with the AAJV, Wil-Rich, Wishek and Concord brands.

"Our new facility represents not just a building but our dedication to advancing agricultural technology and creating new opportunities for our employees and local partners," said Jason Strobbe, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing for North America. "We are excited to connect more with our North American customers and dealers, demonstrating our commitment to this market."

Spanning more than 35,000 square feet, the new headquarters is designed to enhance operations and foster collaboration among various departments, including human resources, engineering, sales and marketing, finance and operations.

The facility also features an auditorium that accommodates up to 75 people, as well as additional facilities capable of hosting 60 more, in which Väderstad plans to host training sessions, clinics and open houses.

During the ribbon-cutting event, Christina Stark, a family owner of Väderstad, reflected on the company's legacy and journey in the U.S., expressing her delight in celebrating this important milestone. Martin White, managing director and vice president of operations, also addressed attendees, highlighting Väderstad's operations in the U.S. and its promising future prospects.

After the ribbon-cutting, guests enjoyed guided tours of the new facility and a celebratory luncheon in the new cafeteria.

Väderstad U.S. would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported the company throughout its journey. Together, the team looks forward to a future filled with growth, innovation and success.
