President-elect Donald Trump is going to nominate Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma's attorney general, to head the Environmental Protection Agency, The Washington Post reported today.

Pruitt was elected in 2010 and has filed several lawsuits that target the environmental policies of the Obama administration, according to the New York Post.

Politico reports that Pruitt is a skeptic of climate change, is a leading critic of the Waters of the U.S. rules and is an opponent of Interior Department protections for the lesser prairie chicken.

"We know that in his position as attorney general in Oklahoma, Pruitt has stood up for common-sense, effective regulation that protects the environment and the rights of the regulated community. We anticipate that as EPA administrator, Pruitt will listen to our concerns and those of others who work with the nation’s natural resources on a daily basis."
