Retailers like Kwik Trip, Casey’s, Minnoco and others all carry a ten percent ethanol blend, as it is our nation’s standard fuel, but nearly 2,000 of these retailer’s stores in the U.S. are also offering E15, a fifteen percent blend of ethanol, with that number continuing to grow. That’s because these multi-million-dollar companies know ethanol’s value, and know their customers see it too, thanks to the good work being done by Prime the Pump to bring higher ethanol blends to the fuel pump.

These retailers are comfortable - and excited - about putting their name behind this engine-smart and earth-kind biofuel, and other countries around the globe are taking notice. Abroad, we are also seeing that growing comfort with higher ethanol fuel blends. China is moving to E10, Ontario, Canada is adopting E15, and Brazil’s average blend rate is 45 percent. Ethanol blended fuel is becoming the new normal for a consumers, and along with it, the promise of more corn demand for our farmers, and demand for ethanol from our producers. Establishing the success of biofuel blends in the U.S. helps to drive interest and open markets all around the world, and at Primp the Pump, we’re excited to be leading force for market change.
