Improvements to Massey Ferguson's 8780xp Rotary Combine add flexibility for harvesting all types of crops, and produce higher-capacity and higher-quality grain.
New two-speed rotor drive gearbox, auto unload auger swing, spill saver, and larger steering cylinder and steering control unit, give the Massey Ferguson 8780Rotary Combine the capability to deliver some of the highest quality grain samples in the field today.
The MF 8780xp features load-sensing hydraulics, hydrostatic ground drive, four-speed constant-mesh transmission, and heavy-duty final drives.
The exclusive, infinitely variable hydrostatic rotor drive replaces complicated belt drives found on competitive combines; provides full-powered rotor reverse for unplugging, and accurately monitors rotor load, making both experienced and inexperienced operators highly productive.
A push-button controlled auto unload auger swing can be swung out or fully retracted by one push of the button. Changing from automatic to manual control keeps the auger engaged, allowing the operator to top off grain wagons or trucks.
Massey has also introduced a new 32-speed Dynashuttle transmission with AutoDrive, new QuadLink 4WD Front Suspension, and new Remote Management System with joystick control to add more versatility, maneuverability, operator comfort and productivity to the MF 6200 Series tractors.
The wide choice of sizes, features, wheels and tires, and attachments, make it easy for customers to match these tractors to many different applications and needs.
