The deadline for the new Missouri Master Farmer Award nomination and application process is fast approaching - Aug. 1. The award program will honor four outstanding Missouri farmers with $1,000 cash prizes and industry-wide recognition. Organizers Missouri Ruralist and University of Missouri Extension plan an awards banquet, plus an educational roundtable discussion with representatives from young farmer organizations, this winter. FCS Financial is the gold sponsor.

This is a program for all Missourians involved in agriculture – whether you are a crop farmer, livestock or poultry producer, vegetable or fruit grower, tree farmer or vineyard owner.
