The Nitrogen Sealing system, developed by Illinois farmer John Miller, is a patent pending device designed to seal the soil surface behind the nitrogen applicator. The system is designed to position the nitrogen in the soil, then a coulter relocates the soil closer to the root mass of the plant for more efficient nutrient uptake.

Coulter angle can be adjusted depending on the speed of your applicator. The unit also includes a camera so operators can identify and correct coulter angle for best nitrogen placement. Every unit has a gauge wheel to provide consistent cutting depth. Each unit will have a down-pressure unit and will fit on either a 7-by-7-inch frame or on a 7-by-5-inch frame. The system is designed so that one unit can cover two rows. Learn more by visiting nitrogensealingsystems.com.
