Dahlco Joins Wensman Seed Company in Minnesota

Wensman has headquarters in Wadena.

Wensman Seed Company, a division of AgReliant Genetics, LLC of Westfield, Indiana, recently announced that the retail seed operations of Dahlco Seeds, Inc. in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota have become a part of Wensman Seed Company.

Dahlco Seeds of Cokato currently markets corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and other seeds across the northern Corn Belt. Dahlco dealers and customers in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota will have access to new products from Wensman Seed Company headquartered in Wadena.

Kevin Dahlman, president of Dahlco Seeds, Inc. says the acquisition will significantly improve the products that Dahlco offers its dealers and customers. "AgReliant is the number 4 Corn Seed Company in the U. S. and has one of the largest corn breeding programs in the U.S.," he says. "I personally am looking forward to working with the Wensman team to continue to offer the outstanding service and commitment to farmers that has been part of the Dahlco legacy."

Dahlco Seeds, Inc. is a family-owned seed business with roots going back over 85 years. It has specialized in selling corn, soybean, alfalfa and other seeds to farmers in the northern Corn Belt.
