2015 November prices down from previous year

Milk is nearly $7 per hundredweight lower than in 2014.

The November 2015 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.43 per bushel according to the latest USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service Agricultural Prices report.

This was down six cents from the October price and eight cents lower than the November 2014 price.

The November 2015 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $8.51 per bushel, was down 13 cents from the October price, and $1.44 lower than the November 2014 price.

The November spring wheat price was $5 per bushel, up 29 cents from October but down 39 cents from November 2014.

The November sunflower price was $21.20 per hundredweight, up 40 cents from October.

The November oat price was $2.39 per bushel, up 51 cents from October but 61 cents below November 2014.

All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $93 per ton in November, down $4 from the October price and $43 per ton less than November 2014.

Alfalfa hay prices fell $49 per ton from one year ago to $109, while other hay prices were $24 per ton lower.

The all milk price was $17.70 per hundredweight, same as in October but down from November 2014's $24.40.
