Unverferth Manufacturing Co., Inc. announces the availability of a hydraulic flexible-frame option for the Ripper-Stripper tillage tool. The flex frame for 8-row and larger folding sizes feature 15 degrees of upward movement and 5 degrees downward for maintaining consistent ground contact in uneven terrain.

The Ripper-Stripper strip-till tillage tool helps create a one-pass seedbed that warms quickly, provides optimum seed-to-soil contact for enhanced germination and makes it easy for plant roots to move freely throughout the soil profile.

Also new are floating row cleaners that are mounted to the coulter to meet grower needs in high-residue areas. The compact design features floating curved finger wheels that follow ground contour separately from the blade. Adjustable downpressure from 0 to 150 pounds lets grower determine aggressiveness.

The Ripper-Stripper tool is designed from the ground up to provide the most tillage choices available – a total of 14 different tillage attachment combinations – along with fertilizer shank attachments, planter and pull-type attachments – to meet specific individual grower needs.

For additional information, growers are encouraged to check with their nearest Unverferth dealer or visit umequip.com for complete details.
