Customer service remains priority

“Innovation is part of our identity at Sukup, starting with my father Eugene’s original Stir Way Automatic in 1963,” Sukup says. “As a family-owned company, my priority as president will be to continually outperform our big corporate competitors by staying close to our customers. Sukup is known for understanding the agriculture industry’s needs and providing the innovative solutions to effectively address those needs. I look forward to taking on the role of president and continuing to work with our third-generation family members and dedicated team of employees.”

Third generation family members in management roles at Sukup Manufacturing Co. include Emily Schmitt, general counsel; Matt Koch, senior electrical engineer; and Andy Schmitt, supply chain manager. Nick Sukup and Andrew Sukup hold production roles at the company.

Steve Sukup, the board of directors and third-generation family members active in the company are committed to ensuring that Sukup Manufacturing Co. remains family-owned, and supporting the keys to success the company has built since 1963: a strong dealer network, world-class manufacturing capability, a responsive attitude to customer service, and engineering solutions to meet the needs of the global agriculture community.

The company’s product line includes on-farm and commercial grain bins; portable, mixed-flow and tower dryers; centrifugal and axial fans and heaters; stirring machines; bin unloading equipment and bin floors and supports. Sukup also manufactures a line of material handling equipment that includes bucket elevators, drag and chain loop conveyors, and support structures; and a line of steel buildings.
