Where else could you spend a day and find everything from a new model of welder to a new type of agent that can substitute for graphite in your planter seed box? You can do it at farm shows!

Farm Progress editors combed shows this fall, uncovering as many unique new products as possible. Eleven such products are showcased here. If you’re caught up in the hemp craze, or even if you’re just following it and think you might want to try growing it in the future, check out the one-row hemp cutter in this lineup. Even the very first Farm Progress Show in 1953 didn’t feature one-row equipment. This one is a breakthrough since hemp is just now becoming legal to grow, and until now, the majority of the harvesting was by hand.

If welding is more your thing, check out the new welders on the market. Companies that make welders continue to recognize that this piece of equipment is essential to a farm shop, and it often finds its way onto a farm repair truck that goes to the field as well. That’s why they continue to tweak their equipment and bring out new models with applications for the ag industry.

You also will find a new model of semitrailer in this lineup, introduced just in time for fall farm shows. And Woods unveiled a new backhoe model. It’s designed to fit any size farm — affordable for medium and small operations, but tough enough to handle big jobs that might occur on larger farm operations as well. The backhoe is designed with safety, minimal maintenance and longevity in mind. Check out these features by using the contact information provided for this machine.
