The new White Planters Model 8936-30 planter created quite a stir when AGCO introduced it at its annual dealer meeting in Kansas City Monday night. The 36-row planter is designed to run on rubber tracks to reduce the footprint it leaves as it covers 60 acres per hour. AGCO’s Greg Milstead says the planter is one of several new AGCO innovations that are designed to “send a message” to growers and dealers.
